Another wallet that is 100% recyclable is the Tyvek Wallet.
I am assuming that this quality qualifies as being green. But in either case, once this wallet has worn down and is ready to be thrown out, it can be recycled. They say the Tyvek wallet is made of 25% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. The eco wallet is made of one single sheet of tear-resistant Tyvek which is the same material express mail envelopes are made from. They are very thin and durable. I don’t have an express mail envelope in my hand now, but I don’t remember the material being as sturdy as leather or vinyl. This wallet would concern me that it might wear out far more quickly than other wallets. “Mighty Wallets” the designer claims that it does wear down after years, but not so much that it doesn’t still work.
At this point the wallet might even have more personality. Although getting wet would seem like an issue with this recyclable wallet, it seems the material is waterproof.

The hemp wallets have that earthy look to them and do not seem to comfortable to hold. But it is a style that might be appreciated by some.
