Yesterday we marveled over the Blue Team PE today we all drool over the Red Team PE. Although the two shoes use different colorways, color placement is the same. The same white base is used, with the same black pebbled leather side panels. The pair pictured above was made for Shooting Guard Tyreke “Too Easy” Evans, who is still undecided as to where he will attend college. Like Blue Team PE, these were also limited to 10 pairs given to the players. Tons of pictures after the jump.
The Air Jordan 1 is undoubtably one of if not the most popular Jordan models to date. It has also contributed more to the sneaker world than other shoe. This Jordan 1 combines the best of the both worlds for sneaker and sport entusiats. This is the first time the Jordan 1 has been given the special Olympic colorway.
Like the other Olympic themed Jordans these too are made of a white base. The metallic adds a nice flair to the red and blue accents. The gold image on the side says Team, which represents the USA Basketball Team. Although the “Dream Team” are long gone, the “Reedem Team” is here is to stay and definitely a force to be reckoned with. The same can be said about Olympic Jordans who time after time proved to worthy of fans approval. More info after the jump.
Touching down just in time for back to school is the second color way of the Six Rings. Did I mention, it designed specially for the ladies (awwwwww don’t you feel special?). It features a grey nylon upper, midsole and sock liner. The majority of the shoe is a white patent leather and outsole. The Jordan VIII (8) inspired tongue is black, blue, grey and white. The Jumpman on the heel is vivid blue while the Jordan XIV (14) Jumpman near the toe box is a nice concord purple. Overall, these are a nice simple but still captivating shoe. Now available at finishline. More info after the jump.
“llego who have created these slick Air Jordan’s are worthy of giving Nike a run for their money. The color combination is very popular and no doubt works incredibly well but I think what really gives it that “wow” factor, is that slightly illuminative white tongue (Air Jordan III) to go with that red-turning-white sole that really lightens up the whole shoe along with that eye catching stitching.

A great feature that Illego has cleverly constructed into the design is the toe and heel being made from “charcoal denim” with elephant print which not only gives it that slight retro feel, but gains extra attraction. Then theres the Nike Air back pieces Illego has used, which provokes a mixed reaction from me. I like the way that the back pieces have been put in, but these are Jordan’s, not Nike Air!
The box, which looks like a patchwork print, made out of leather has to be one of the best that I’ve seen. The leather and the satin gives it that extra bit of preciousness, class and beauty; it’s what makes it feel expensive when held. To make Illego’s mark clear, he has put the name into the Jordan logo making it seem like a genuine Jordan product.
These Jordunks, based on a kind of fusion of Air Jordans and dunks, say more then what a million words can be said to describe the originality and breathtaking attention to detail. I look forward to seeing Illego’s future work and watch him become increasingly popular with Jordan fans.”
